Do you suffer from a poor bite? Transpalatal and Lingual Arches may be the right treatment for you.

Transpalatal PICWhat is the TransPalatal Arch?

The TransPalatal Arch is a rather unobstrusive appliance used for controlling molar position.

When is this treatment required?

We use it in patients who have open bites and in those wearing high-pull headgears, although it may be used in other situations where molar control is desirable.

What does the Lingual Arch correct?

The lingual arch is used to correct developing crowding in the lower jaw. It’s most common application is in gaining space in the developing dentition by using the “E” or leeway space so that permanent tooth extractions can be avoided!
